A partnership, not a rebuild

We want to be clear about our role: we did not design or build the original InStill Mindfulness site. We were brought in to look after it, and we have maintained it for years since. InStill is a Pulaski, Virginia nonprofit, a decade into cultivating “a mindful world for all” through mindfulness education, community programs, and peer recovery support across Southwest Virginia. It is grant-funded, mission-driven work, the kind that has to keep running whether or not anyone is thinking about the website.

Faster, and built to stay that way

The biggest wins have been under the hood. We rebuilt the site’s performance from where it was: load times are down and its performance scores are dramatically higher than when we took it on, so the site holds up for every visitor regardless of device or connection.

Alongside the speed work, we have developed a range of custom solutions and improvements as the organization’s needs have grown, extending the site well past where we found it without ever disrupting the team that depends on it.

Reliable, accountable, cared for

What a grant-funded nonprofit needs most is a site that simply works, and proof that it does. We host and maintain InStill with ongoing monitoring and monthly care reports, the same accountability we bring to every maintenance client, so a small team can trust their digital front door and stay focused on the mission instead of the CMS.
