The challenge
Slip rings are deeply technical components bought by skeptical engineers at defense and aerospace primes. The old web presence didn’t match the caliber of the hardware: EMC needed a site that could explain the technology, organize a large product line, and hold up in a defense procurement context.
What we built
A WordPress build that treats the engineering seriously: a product overview that explains slip ring design tradeoffs (electrical specs, mechanical packaging, operating environment, cost), a filterable catalog of assemblies with CAD renders, and dedicated tracks for markets served, capabilities, and suppliers.
Request-a-quote is the site’s one job, so it’s everywhere: a persistent call CTA in the header and a guided step-by-step contact experience instead of a long RFQ form. EMC manages products and content through WordPress.
Accessible by design
Defense suppliers increasingly face the same accessibility bar as their government customers, so the site is being built with accessibility in mind: semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, and accessible product filtering.
